BALTIC flow wrapping machines,
Horizontal flow wrapping machines (HFFS) producing a totally hermetic three sealing pillow pack for fresh food. Optionally can produce modified atmosphere (MAP) packing. Different types of films are available (barrier laminated, BD shrink barrier, SES stretch shrink). Medium-high performance level.

The BALTIC family offers an entry level solution that opens doors to packaging of Fresh Food products with very competitive investment levels. These flow wrapping machines offer a wide variety of versions and solutions for the different types of films (barrier laminated films, BDF shrink barrier film, SES stretch shrink film) and are available as a top reel or as a bottom reel machine.
The state of the art electronic technology applied together with the latest development in packaging technologies, added to ULMA’s more than 40 year experience in packaging machinery has turned into the ideal entry level packaging machine for MAP applications.
TECHNICAL FEATURES

Electronic packaging machine powered with independent motors synchronised by a motion control system.

Machine is built on a stainless steel frame in a cantilever execution, to avoid dirt
and dust accumulation and allowing an optimum cleaning and hygiene. -
The longitudinal seal is created by a set of sealing and pulling rollers, specifically designed to obtain airtight seals.

Cross sealing station provided with an over-pressure system designed to obtain
airtight seals. -
Reel holder with a self centring fastening system and motorized system for
unwinding film. -
In-feed conveyor 2 meters long fully made in stainless steel and designed for
easy cleaning. -
Gas flushing system.

The control panel has a monochrome touch screen for the user/machine interface,
allowing various parameter settings for each product (bag length, speed, sealing time, etc…). -
The “No product - No Bag” and “Misplaced product safety” functions are standard in this machine.
MAIN OPTIONAL DEVICES
- Top reel or Bottom reel versions are available.
- Different versions for various films (barrier laminates OPA/PE or similar films, BDF shrink barrier film, SES stretch shrink film).
- Photocell for print registration.
- “On line” residual oxygen analyser.
- Inline automatic feeding systems.
- Various types of entry level hot air or hot water shrink tunnels are available (depending on the application).
