See Packaging Innovation in Action with ULMA at the PPMA Show 2026,

Five machines. One stand. A complete view of what is possible.

We’re excited to be returning to the PPMA Show 2026, taking place from 22–24 September at Birmingham’s NEC. This year, visitors to Stand D20 will be able to see five ULMA packaging machines operating live, demonstrating solutions designed to improve productivity, maximise efficiency and deliver consistently high-quality packaging solutions. 

Our largest machinery showcase at the PPMA will bring together tray sealing, thermoforming, horizontal flow wrapping and vertical bagging solutions. Whether you’re replacing an existing machine, increasing production capacity or planning a fully integrated packaging line, our team will be available throughout the show to discuss your products, current processes and future requirements.

For high-speed modified atmosphere flow wrapping, visitors will be able to see the new FM 400 in action. Its Long-Dwell sealing head produces reliable airtight seals at speeds of up to 150 packs per minute, while its stainless-steel, washdown-ready design makes it particularly well suited to demanding fresh-food production environments.

The TSA 400 automatic traysealer combines a compact footprint with robust, hygienic construction and straightforward operation. Suitable for cut-and-seal, modified atmosphere and skin packaging applications, it offers excellent flexibility for manufacturers looking to introduce or expand automated tray sealing.

Also running live will be the TFS 200 MSV thermoformer. This highly versatile, all-in-one solution can produce modified atmosphere, skin and traditional vacuum packs. It is compatible with rigid and flexible films, as well as combinations incorporating cardboard, giving manufacturers greater freedom when developing new pack formats.

The Sienna LS BS horizontal flow wrapper will demonstrate ULMA’s experience in packaging loose, delicate and variable-length products. Its flexibility makes it a strong solution for fresh produce and other challenging applications where careful product handling and reliable pack presentation are essential.

Completing the live machinery line-up is the VTC 840 vertical bagger. Designed to combine hygiene, performance and reliability, the VTC 840 features ULMA’s TightBag™ technology, which controls the volume of air inside the pack without requiring perforations. This produces a more compact pack and can help reduce the space required during storage and transportation.

Alongside the live demonstrations, our specialists will be ready to discuss ULMA’s complete line capabilities, including product handling, automatic loading, inspection, case packing and end-of-line automation. By bringing these technologies together, ULMA can provide one integrated solution with a single point of responsibility.
