ULMA Packaging UK demonstrates end-of-line automation at PPMA Total Show 2025

We’re excited to be returning to the PPMA Total Show 2025, taking place from 23–25 September at Birmingham’s NEC. This year, we’ll be showcasing our latest automated packaging solutions designed to increase production efficiency, reduce labour requirements and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
At the centre of our 14x5m stand (Stand D50), you’ll find a fully operational TSA 680 tray sealing line, integrated with a case packer. This live demonstration highlights our ability to deliver turnkey, end-of-line automation, helping manufacturers optimise throughput and cut operational costs with streamlined, labour-efficient processes.
We’ll also be running the FR 200 flow wrapper, one of our most popular machines. Compact, hygienic and highly flexible, the FR 200 is ideal for a wide range of food applications. Like the TSA 680, it will be in action throughout the show so you can see its performance, adaptability and ease of use first-hand.
As our managing director James Couldwell puts it:
“PPMA provides an excellent opportunity to bring automation to life for our customers. This year, we’re demonstrating how intelligent, integrated systems – like our TSA 680 line with case packing – can reduce costs and improve efficiency on the factory floor. With both machines running live, visitors can experience the quality, innovation and service that ULMA delivers.”
In true ULMA style, we’ll also be offering complimentary refreshments and goodie bags across the three-day event. Whether you’re exploring new automation solutions or looking to solve existing production challenges, our experts will be on hand with personalised advice and technical insight.
And while thermoforming and vertical form fill seal solutions won’t be physically on the stand this year, we’ll be ready to discuss our full range of machinery – from vacuum and MAP thermoformers to high-speed vertical baggers – all widely used across sectors such as fresh produce, meat, dairy, bakery and ready meals.
